  1. Who We Are We are the Eatcom.net platform, an online platform that provides services connecting stores and customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

D. Delivery Operations We share your delivery data (name, phone number, address) only with delivery partners, using the minimum required. Legal Basis: Contract Performance / Legitimate Interest

E. Customer Support We use your data to resolve issues, respond to complaints, or issue compensation. Chatbots may be used with constant human oversight. Legal Basis: Contract Performance Retention Period: 3 to 6 years depending on jurisdiction

F. Marketing and Promotions We may send you offers or notifications via email, SMS, or in-app messages based on your preferences. You can opt out at any time. Legal Basis: Consent

G. Platform Security We use security technologies such as two-factor authentication, fraud detection systems, and backups to secure your data. Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest Backup Retention: 90 days

  • Stores and service providers – to process orders.

  • Payment providers – to conduct transactions.

  4. Use of Location Data We collect and use your location data to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our delivery operations. Specifically, the app requests access to your location in order to allow our management system to assign the most suitable delivery orders to each delivery driver based on their current location.

This ensures timely deliveries, reduces travel distance, and enhances overall service quality. Location data is used strictly for operational purposes and is not shared with unauthorized third parties.

You may control location access permissions via your device settings. Disabling this feature may affect certain delivery functionalities.
